Tichina Smith
Tichina has always had a passion for helping others. Tichina embarked upon this journey as a counselor and coach for women and adolescents who have a hard time realizing exactly who they are and how powerful their thoughts are! Using therapeutic techniques, she assists others in fortifying their lives.
Tichina graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice in 2006. Down the line, she earned a human services certificate specializing in Addiction Studies. Being introduced to a different field and population for addiction, she began a substance use counselor career to attain full credentialing. She also obtained a graduate certificate from Capella University in 2018 in Contemporary Mental Health Theories. Tichina has completed her Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate for the State of North Carolina. Tichina is currently a Doctoral student studying Advanced Human Behavior, eventually earning a PhD in Philosophy.
Tichina governs herself by two main philosophies: ‘Everything happens for a reason’ and ‘Listen twice as much as you speak’. Tichina believes that if Grace is given, even to yourself you’ll find that there is light at the end of each tunnel. Some may take longer to find it, but working together the light will be found.
Hear From Tichina
In life, we can do many things, such as buy a big house, an expensive car and fancy clothing. However, when life is over, none of those things matter. What matters is leaving a lasting impression. Suppose I can assist one person to see things from a different, more positive perspective. In that, I've helped not one but many.
