Kristin Ryeson, MSW, LCSW, LMSW
Kristin Ryeson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of North Carolina and a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)-Macro and Clinical in the State of Michigan. She earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from The University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Direct Practice and specialization in Services to Children and Youth.
Kristin has 24 years of experience in clinical social work, including program development and
leadership, management of behavioral health services in community mental health and private
practice settings, facilitation of groups, trainings, and presentations, supervision, as well as provision
of outpatient psychotherapy with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Kristin’s personal and professional experiences have provided her with opportunities to work with diverse populations in various states and areas of practice, including Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, and more recently in North Carolina.
At Reframe Counseling, Kristin provides comprehensive clinical assessment and mental health therapy services to children ages 8-12, adolescents ages 13-17, adults, and families utilizing various therapeutic models and interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), family therapy, psychodynamic and attachment theories, play/art therapy techniques, and trauma-informed care. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, ADHD, school concerns, parenting support, family relationships, and adjustment to major life transitions (i.e. divorce/separation, blended families, high school/college, or grief/loss).
